Biden., Jr., President of the United States of America, and Dr. Jill Biden, First lady of the United States of America. The overview of the discussion is as follows. Dr. Jill Biden joined the meeting, moving up her official duties in Detroit.
- President Biden expressed his pleasure to see Prime Minister Suga again and expressed his sincere gratitude for his friendship. He also stated that he would like to seek Prime Minister Suga’s advice even after the end of his term as Prime Minister.
- First Lady Jill Biden expressed her gratitude to Prime Minister Suga and Mrs. Suga Mariko, First Lady of japan, for their hospitality during the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympic Games. She also stated that she would like to convey her best wishes to First Lady Suga Mariko.
- In response, Prime Minister Suga expressed his gratitude to President Biden for his friendship and trust, adding that the importance of the Japan-U.S. Alliance will remain unchanged.
