The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan organized a Study Tour jointly with the Tourism Shizuoka Japan for the diplomatic corps stationed in Japan from November 12 to 13. 6 diplomats from 3 countries and 1 delegation participated in the tour. The diplomats visited Izu Velodrome, which will be the venue of the track cycling games in the Olympic and Paralympics Tokyo 2020. Also, they visited a bonito processing (Katsuobushi) factory, the first one which was designated EU-HACCP in 2017.
