Diplomats’ Study Tour to Iizuka City

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan organized a Study Tour jointly with Iizuka City, Fukuoka Prefecture for the diplomatic corps stationed in Japan from April 22 to 23. 16 diplomats from 11 countries participated in the tour. The diplomats watched the games of ‘Japan Open’, Iizuka International Wheelchair Tennis Championships, and also visited Kaho Theater and the patisserie course of Iizuka High School. They deepened their understanding about the City known as a town of coal mines and sugar road.
