G7 Ise-Shima Summit
(May 26 Working Dinner)

Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, offered and introduced to G7 leaders and other participants at the working dinner held on Day 1 of the G7 Ise-Shima Summit on May 26 a variety of dishes that made full use of ingredients from around Mie Prefecture and Japanese sake produced in Mie Prefecture, as well as Japanese wine. This was an extremely meaningful opportunity in carrying out effective public relations on Japan’s national food culture.
