Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan, offered and introduced to G7 leaders at the working lunch on Day 1 of the G7 Ise-Shima Summit a variety of dishes that made full use of ingredients from across Mie Prefecture and Japanese sake produced in Mie Prefecture, along with Japanese wine and other produce. This was an extremely meaningful opportunity to promote the appeal of Japan’s food culture to the world.
