Japan-Saudi Arabia Summit Telephone Talk
On October 5, commencing at 8:20 p.m. for approximately 10 minutes, Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan held a telephone talk with H.R.H. Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The overview is as follows.
Prime Minister Kishida stated that he is delighted to speak with H.R.H. Crown Prince Mohammed over the phone, following their meetings during his visit to Saudi Arabia in July and on the side lines of the G20 New Delhi Summit in September. H.R.H Crown Prince Mohammed stated that he is pleased to have close communication with Prime Minister Kishida, including during Prime Minister Kishida’s visit to Saudi Arabia and the G20 New Delhi Summit and that he would like to continue to strengthen cooperation in various areas between the two countries.
The two leaders concurred to continue close collaboration, including through high level communication.
