On October 7, commencing at 9:45 a.m., for approximately 20 minutes, Mr. OZORA Koki, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Waleed SIAM, Ambassador, Representative, the Permanent General Mission of Palestine.

  1. On October 7, commencing at 9:45 a.m., for approximately 20 minutes, Mr. OZORA Koki, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Waleed SIAM, Ambassador, Representative, the Permanent General Mission of Palestine.
  2. Both sides held a wide-ranging exchange of views on the situations surrounding Palestine and Japan-Palestine relations, the parliamentary elections scheduled to be held in Palestine next month and concurred on continuing close communication.
  3. Ambassador Siam expressed his deep appreciation for the recent return to Gaza of two Palestinian patients injured due to the fighting in Gaza, following the completion of their medical treatment in Japan.
