Symposium Toward a 100% Renewable Energy Society - Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives in Japan - was held at Chiba University of Commerce on 23rd August.
1. Overview of the conference
After the opening remarks from State Minister Mr. Kazuyuki Nakane, Mr. Lasse Bruun, Global Head of Energy Transition of CAN International presented a keynote speech. Following the opening remarks, 2 panel discussions were held with the participation of representatives of companies, a university and local governments declaring realization of 100% renewable energy.
In the panel discussion, panelists shared details and efforts in meeting the declaration and realizing 100% renewable energy procurement and actively discussed future trends toward a 100% renewable energy society.
