The 23rd Informal Meeting on Further Actions against Climate Change



1. Overview
Japan and Brazil have been hosting the Informal Meeting on Further Actions against Climate Change (the Japan-Brazil Dialogue) in Tokyo every year since 2002. The objective of the meeting is to have discussions in a candid and informal manner among chief negotiators and other officials from various countries. The participants in this year’s meeting discussed the outlooks and issues of negotiations on mitigation, adaptation and means of implementation etc., towards COP30 to be held in Belem (the Federative Republic of Brazil) from November 10th to 21st.
