The 22nd Informal Meeting on Further Actions against Climate Change

1. Objectives
Japan and Brazil have been hosting the Informal Meeting on Further Actions against Climate Change (commonly known as the Japan-Brazil Dialogue) in Tokyo every year since 2002. The objective of the meeting is to have discussions in a candid and informal manner among chief negotiators and other officials from various countries. The participants discussed the outlooks and issues of negotiations towards COP29 to be held in the Republic of Azerbaijan from November 11th to November 22nd.
