Climate Change

June 15, 2017

Global warming not only leads temperature rise but it also affects such day-to-day phenomenon as rainfall frequency. Climate change countermeasures are required in various fields including disaster prevention and agriculture. In order to understand the implications of climate change in those various fields and take appropriate actions, scientific knowledge plays a critical part to analyze the ongoing issues and predict what could happen in the future.
Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA) created a video, Science and Technology Prove Global Warming, to introduce its role on combating climate change and uploaded on YouTube.
