Nara, an ancient capitol of Japan, is the birthplace of Tanka, one of the traditional Japanese poems. In this 2nd meeting of Nara University TANKA Club, we will invite Kazuhiko Ito, one of the most renowned contemporary Tanka poets, to give a lecture on the lives of great female Tanka poets in history.
