1 Visit to Mongolia (22 October)

 Mrs. Akie Abe met Mrs. Khajidsuren Bolormaa, spouse of the President of Mongolia.
 Mrs. Bolormaa explained activities of “Bolor” charity fund which she runs as well as children who needs supports in Mongolia. Children of the fund with Mongolian traditional costumes played Mongolian traditional music including folk songs, Japanese songs and welcomed her with dances. After their performances, Mrs. Abe talked with the children and wished them to become bridges between Japan and Mongolia and to promote the relation of the two countries.

2 Visit to Turkmenistan (22-24 October, 2015)

(1) Visit to the Institute of International Relations of Turkmenistan and Discussion with students of Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages (23 October 2015)

 Mrs. Abe visited the Institute of International Relations of MoFA of Turkmenistan and had a discussion with students, mainly, those of Azadi Turkmen National Institute of World Languages, who study Japanese language. Students asked Mrs. Abe about Kimono and Japanese food in Japanese, and explained their enthusiasm to popularize Japanese language in Turkmenistan.

(2) Visit to the National Museum of Turkmen Carpet (23 October 2015)

 Mrs. Abe, accompanied by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Mrs. Yazmuhammedova, visited the National Museum of Turkmen Carpet and was welcomed with traditional Turkmen songs sung during demonstration of carpet weaving.

(3) Lunch hosted by Chairman of the Parliament of Turkmenistan (23 October 2015)

 Mrs. Abe attended a lunch hosted by the Chairperson of the Parliament of Turkmenistan, Mrs. Nurberdiyeva. Mrs. Nurberdiyeva introduced success of women in Turkmenistan.

(4) Visit to the Scientific and Clinical Center of Maternal and Child Health Care (23 October 2015)

 Mrs. Abe visited the Scientific and Clinical Center of Maternal and Child Health Care and heard explanations of center's activities and facilities.

3 Visit to Tajikistan (24 October 2015)

(1) The Tajik State Institute of Languages named after Sotium Ulughzoda

 Mrs. Abe had luncheon with the people related to the Department of Japanese Language of the Tajik State Institute of Languages named after Sotium Ulughzoda, which is the only institution in Tajikistan that offers specialized course on Japanese language.

(2) Visit to special support class for children with disabilities in school No. 28 (24 October 2015)

 Mrs. Abe visited special support class for children with disabilities in school No. 28, which was established by Japanese international NGO "Association for Aid and Relief" and Tajikistan NGO "Rushdi Incluziya" with guidance of Mrs. Marhabo JABBORI, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan.

4 Visit to Uzbekistan (24-26 October, 2015)

(1) Meeting with Mrs. Karimova, the spouse of the President of Uzbekistan (25 October)

 Mrs. Abe met with Mrs. Karimova, the spouse of the President of Uzbekistan, at the President’s residence. Mrs. Abe told her pleasure to accompany the Prime Minister Abe on his first visit to Uzbekistan in 9 years, and said that she expected this visit make the exchange between Japan and Uzbekistan deepen.

(2) Meeting with Japanese leading persons in Uzbekistan (25 October)

 Mrs. Abe met Japanese leading persons in Uzbekistan. The associate professor of Department of Japanese Language in Tashkent State Institute of Oriental Studies, Ms. Reiko Sugano, a flute player of the Navoi theater, Mr. Nobuhiro Kawamura, a teacher of the business course in Uzbekistan-Japan Center For Human Development, Mr. Shinobu Fujita, a soccer player, Mr. Minori Sato participated in the meeting.

(3) Lunch with young Uzbeks (25 October)

 Mrs. Abe had a lunch with young Uzbeks who are strongly related to Japan. Participants introduced each activity to Mrs. Abe, and they explained that the Uzbeks are very interested in Japanese language and Japanese culture, for example, the tea ceremony.

(4) Visit to Uzbekistan-Japan Center for Human Development (25 October)

 Mrs. Abe visited Uzbekistan-Japan Center for Human Development operating as a joint venture by Japan and Uzbekistan since 2001. A total of 720 thousand Uzbeks have utilized this center. Uzbekistan-Japan Center for Human Development is working on promotion of mutual understanding through Japanese language and the tea ceremony, and business lectures to learn about up-to-date management technics.

5 Visit to the Kyrgyz Republic (26 October)

(1) Meeting with Mrs. Atambaeva, the spouse of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic

 Mrs. Abe met with Mrs. Atambaeva, the spouse of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, at the state residence. Mrs. Atambaeva explained her gratitude to meet Mrs. Abe for the second time since February 2013.

(2) Visit to a retail shop of "One Village- One Product" project by JICA

 Mrs. Abe visited a retail shop of "One Village- One Product" project by JICA with Mrs. Atambaeva. After the explanation about the project by Mr. Haraguchi, expert of JICA, Mrs. Abe and Mrs. Atambaeva watched demonstration and tasted products such as jam and honey.

(3) Meeting with Japanese representatives of International Organizations (26 October)

 Mrs. Abe met Ms. Rie Hiraoka, Country Director of the Kyrgyz Republic Resident Mission, ADB, Ms. Yukie Mokuo, representative of UNICEF of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Ms. Makiko Shinohara, representative of UNHCR in the Kyrgyz Republic and heard stories about their experience in Kyrgyzstan.

6 Kazakhstan (26-28 October 2015)

(1) Visit to Palace of School Students (27 October)

 Mrs. Abe visited Palace of School Students and met children. Mrs. Abe had a discussion with the children participating in mass-communication club and dance club. During the discussion, Mrs. Abe talked to the children about her expectation to expand interaction between young generation of Japan and Kazakhstan.

(2) Visit to National Museum (27 October)

 Mrs. Abe visited National Museum which exhibits the history and the culture of Kazakhstan. At the museum Mrs. Abe received explanation about the history of Kazakhstan, Kazakh people’s culture and art, and the history of Kazakhstan’s capital city: Astana.

(3) Meeting with Japanese learners (27 October)

 Mrs. Abe had a meeting with Japanese learners at Japan-Kazakhstan Center for Human Development (Astana branch) and L. N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.
