Exchange of Views between Foreign Minister Kamikawa and Representatives of International Organizations Stationed in Ukraine

On January 7 (local time), during her visit to Ukraine, Ms. KAMIKAWA Yoko, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, exchanged views over dinner with representatives of international organizations stationed in Ukraine regarding support for Ukraine and local needs, such as Women, Peace and Security (WPS).
Minister Kamikawa explained the purpose of WPS, and stated that the perspective of WPS is important in light of the damage inflicted on the general public including women and children by Russia's aggression against Ukraine. The participants expressed their approval of the importance of WPS and their views on how to provide assistance to Ukraine in the future, and held a lively exchange of views.
