“Program for Promotion of Foreign Direct Investment in Japan 2025”

- Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA) will host an annual seminar on 'Foreign direct investment in Japan’ in a hybrid format, accommodating both online and in-person attendance.
- Japan is currently attracting significant economic interest from around the world, partly due to major international events such as Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, and GREENxEXPO 2027 to be held in Yokohama from March 2027.
To capitalize on this momentum, this seminar will feature presentations by the Cabinet Office, ministries, and relevant agencies on the overview and specific measures of the "Program for Promotion of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Japan 2025," which was formulated last year with the aim of expanding FDI in Japan.
