Public Webinar Free, Open Indo-Pacific and the Current Situation on Energy and Mineral Resources

On February 18 (Thursday), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will organize a “Public Webinar: Free, Open Indo-Pacific and the Current Situation on Energy and Mineral Resources”.
In the wake of the recent international events including COVID-19 and the recent U.S. presidential election, the international trends surrounding energy and mineral resources have been evolving.
This webinar is expected to provide an opportunity to discuss the pathways for Japan to take, focusing on the relationship between “Free, Open Indo-Pacific” initiative and energy and mineral resources through a lively discussion by a wide range of participants, public audience and stakeholders including representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, energy-related international organizations and private companies, researchers and journalists.
