Prime Minister TAKAICHI’s Attendance at the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting

Ms. TAKAICHI Sanae, Prime Minister of Japan, will visit the Republic of Korea from October 30 to November 1 to attend the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Gyeongju.
- At the meeting, Prime Minister TAKAICHI will discuss issues related to trade and investment as well as emerging challenges such as artificial intelligence (AI) and demographic changes. She will express Japan’s position on these issues and demonstrate Japan’s firm commitment to resilient economic growth and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region.
- On this occasion, Prime Minister TAKAICHI also plans to hold bilateral meetings with other leaders to exchange views on bilateral relations, regional and international affairs, among other topics.
