Foreign Nationals Residing in Japan

On February 27th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) jointly held the event entitled “International Forum on Acceptance of Foreign Nationals and their Integration into Japan”. The overview of the meeting is as follows. (Program (PDF) )

At this forum, under the theme of “Support for Learning and Career Development of Foreign Children, following the opening remarks by Mr.TSUGE Yoshifumi, State Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the keynote speech by Ms. Amy E.Pope,Director General of IOM, lectures and presentation by the domestic and overseas experts and a panel discussion moderated by Mr. YAMAWAKI Keizo, Professor of Meiji University, were held along with lively discussions among the participants.
