The 6th Japan-Iran Human Rights Dialogue

The 6th Japan-Iran Human Rights Dialogue will be held on September 13 in Tokyo.

The dialogue will be led respectively by Mr. Nobukatsu Kanehara, Ambassador in charge of UN affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Mr.Gholamhossein Dehghani, Director General for Political International Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

During the dialogue, both countries are expected to express policies and practices in the field of human rights, and have an exchange of views, among others, on a possibility of bilateral cooperation towards further promotion of human rights as well as cooperation in the field of human rights including cooperation at the Human Rights Council and the UN General Assembly.
