Japan-EU Foreign Ministers' meeting

  1. On April 28 (Wed), the Japan-EU Foreign Ministers’ meeting will be held on the occasion of the 19th Japan-EU Summit Meeting in Tokyo.

  2. Mr. Katsuya Okada, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Baroness Catherine Ashton, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy of the European Union (EU) and Vice President of the European Commission, will attend the meeting.

  3. At this meeting, Mr. Okada and Baroness Ashton will exchange views on a wide range of issues including Japan-EU political and economic relations as well as common challenges shared by Japan and the EU in the international community.
