- On June 24 (Wed) and June 25 (Thu), Mr. Shintaro Ito, State Secretary
for Foreign Affairs of Japan, will attend the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting
to be held in Paris.
- The main theme of the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting is “The Crisis and Beyond: building a stronger, cleaner and fairer world economy.” There, non-member countries as well will participate in discussions regarding the OECD Strategic Orientations, The Road to Recovery, The Role of the OECD in Global Policy Cooperation, Green growth, Keeping Markets Open for Trade and Investment, and other issues.
