- The Hon. Kevin Rudd, Prime Minister of Australia, will visit Japan on December 15 (Tue) .
- During his visit. Prime Minister Rudd will hold a meeting with Mr. Yukio Hatoyama, Prime Minister of Japan. He will receive a courtesy call by Foreign Minister Okada. In the Prime Ministers’ Meeting, they will exchange views on climate change, nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation and bilateral relations.
- Prime Minister Rudd and Prime Minister Hatoyama will also receive commission member reports from the Hon. Gareth Evans and the Hon. Yoriko Kawaguchi, co-chairs of the International Commission on Nuclear Non-proliferation and Disarmament.
