Japan-Egypt Consultations on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation

The Japan-Egypt Consultations on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation will be held on June 15 (Sun) in Cairo, Egypt.
The Consultations will be attended on the Japanese side by a delegation headed by Ambassador Takeshi Nakane, Director-General of the Disarmament, Non-Proliferation and Science Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and on the Egyptian side by a delegation headed by Ambassador Naela Gabr, Assistant Foreign Minister for International Organizations Affairs.
At the Consultations, the participants will discuss wide-ranging issues on disarmament and non-proliferation including nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation, biological and chemical weapons, and conventional weapons.
