The second round of negotiations for the Japan-Australia Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) will be held in Tokyo from August 6 (Mon) to 10 (Fri).
The participants in the meeting will be: on the Japanese side, Mr. Masaharu Kohno, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, and officials from other relevant ministries of Japan; and on the Australian side, Mr. Peter Gray, Deputy Secretary, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and officials from other relevant departments of Australia.
The participants will discuss various issues including trade in goods and services, investment, intellectual property, government procurement, energy, etc.
