The Seventh Japan-Iran Consultation on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Issues

1. The Seventh Japan-Iran Consultation on Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Issues will be held on July 10 (Tue) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
2. Mr. Takeshi Nakane, Director-General of the Disarmament, Non-Proliferation and Science Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan, and Mr. Hamid Baeidinejad, Director-General of Political and International Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will attend the Consultation amongst other officials.
3. There will be discussions on such subjects as nuclear and missile issues of Iran, the Review Process of the Treaty on the Non-proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), and the Biological and Chemical Weapons Conventions.
