The Government of Japan condemns the bombing attack targeting UNIFIL personnel in the southern Lebanon on 24 June, which poses a serious threat to the stability in Lebanon and the region. The Government of Japan expresses its condolences to the victims and their families.
The Government of Japan reaffirms its strong support to the Government of Lebanon and the United Nations in their efforts to restore order and stability in Lebanon and calls on all the parties concerned to cooperate with their efforts.
