Towards TICAD 8 Tunis Plan of Actions

On August 28 (New York time), the Government of Japan, the United Nations, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank and the African Union Commission (AUC) have published the progress of Yokohama Plan of Actions 2019 (YPA 2019). YPA2019 is an accompanying document of the Yokohama Declaration 2019 adopted at the Seventh Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 7) held in 2019. This publication lists up various contributions from TICAD partners for African development after TICAD 7.
Beyond TICAD 8, it is expected that TICAD partners will continue their follow-up efforts under the TICAD 8 Tunis Plan of Actions.

TICAD stands for Tokyo International Conference on African Development. The Government of Japan has been leading this conference since 1993. TICAD is co-hosted by the Government of Japan, the United Nations, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the World Bank and the African Union Commission (AUC). - [Reference 2]
