Study Tour to Shizuoka City by a Diplomatic Corps in Japan

  1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan will organize a Study Tour with Shizuoka City for a Diplomatic Corps in Japan from Thursday, November 1 to Friday, November 2.


  2. This Study Tour is held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with local governments in order to showcase regional at tractions such as cultures and industries for diplomats in Japan.1q


  3. During the Study Tour, the participants are scheduled to deepen their understanding of Shizuoka City through visits to facilities concerning industries, culture and traditional craftwork, and to exchange opinions with people from a variety of sectors, including private enterprises.


  4. Expected Participants:
    21 diplomats from 14 countries in Japan — Bahrain, Latvia, Kuwait, Samoa,  Lesotho, Brunei, Lithuania, Nigeria, Malawi, Cote d’Ivoire, Fiji, United States of America, Botswana and Ecuador
