Fourth Round of Negotiations on the Japan-Switzerland Economic Partnership Agreement

  1. The Fourth Round of Negotiations on the Japan-Switzerland Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) will be held from November 26 (Mon) to 30 (Fri) in Thun, Switzerland.
     
  2. In this Round, Mr. Jun Yokota, Representative of the Government of Japan (Chief Negotiator), and other officials from relevant ministries for the Japanese side, and Mr. Luzius Wasescha, Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Switzerland to the WTO, State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (Chief Negotiator) and other officials from relevant ministries for the Swiss side will participate.
     
  3. At the meetings, such issues as trade in goods, trade in services, investment, government procurement, intellectual property rights and competition will be discussed.
