H.E. A. K. Disanayaka, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, will visit Japan from 27 September to 1 October to attend Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

  1. During his stay in Japan, the President will make a State Call on His Majesty the Emperor of Japan. Mr. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a summit meeting with the President.
  2. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the President and hopes that the visit will further deepen the friendship and cooperation between Japan and the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
