Announcement of the Official Logo for the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Kingdom of Bhutan in 2016
1. Details of entries and selection process
The official logo for the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and the Kingdom of Bhutan was adopted by both the Governments of Japan and the Kingdom of Bhutan. There were 35 entries from Japan and the Kingdom of Bhutan. The logo will be used in both the countries through 2016.
2.Logo
The creator of the logo is Mr. Ichiro SUGIYAMA. The friendly relations between Japan and the Kingdom of Bhutan is abstracted in this logo by the combination of ‘30th’ for the anniversary of the diplomatic relations and the National flowers of the two countries, cherry blossom and blue poppy.
3. The logo can be used in the events celebrating the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relationship between Japan and the Kingdom of Bhutan, which is endorsed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdome of Bhutan.
