Courtesy Call on Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs SHIMADA by H.E. Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Ameer, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami

On May 8, Mr. SHIMADA Tomoaki, Parliamentary Vice-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call by H.E. Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Ameer, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, who is visiting Japan.
- Parliamentary Vice-Minister SHIMADA welcomed Dr. Shafiqur Rahman’s visit to Japan and stated that Japan has consistently assisted the nation-building efforts of Bangladesh as a close friend and will continue to further develop the bilateral relations under the “Strategic Partnership”.
- In response, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman mentioned that Japan is an important partner for Bangladesh and expressed his appreciation to the Government and people of Japan for its support to Bangladesh over many years.
