Japan-Bangladesh Relations

1. H. E. Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh will pay an Official Visit to Japan from 25 April to 28 April.
2. During her stay in Japan, the Prime Minister will be received in audience by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan. Mr. KISHIDA Fumio, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a summit meeting with the Prime Minister and then host a working dinner in her honor.
3. The Government of Japan sincerely welcomes the visit of the Prime Minister, and hopes that this visit will further strengthen the friendly relations between Japan and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

1. This will be H. E. Sheikh Hasina’s sixth visit to Japan as the Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
2. H. E. Sheikh Hasina visited Japan in the following occasions: Official Working Visit to Japan in July 1997, Official Visit to Japan in November 2010, Official Visit to Japan in May 2014, G7 Ise-Shima Summit in May 2016 and 25th International Conference on the Future of Asia in May 2019.
