President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste to visit Japan

H.E. Dr. José RAMOS-HORTA, President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, will pay a visit to Japan from August 21 to 29, 2025, as official guest of the Government of Japan for participation to National Day Event (August 28) of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
- During his stay in Japan, Mr. ISHIBA Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a summit meeting with the President.
- It is expected that President RAMOS-HORTA’s visit to Japan will further deepen the friendly bilateral relations between the two countries.
