Announcement of Official Logo for the 60th Anniversary of the Establishment of Japan-Indonesia Diplomatic Relations

The official logo for the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Indonesia diplomatic relations has been selected through the public competition conducted from July 26, 2017 to September 30, 2017 with 469 entries. It was announced by Mr. Shinzo Abe, Prime Minister of Japan and H.E. Mr. Joko Widodo, President of the Republic of Indonesia, at the occasion of the summit meeting held on November 12. The logo will be used for the events related to the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Indonesia diplomatic relations in 2017.

The creator: Mr. Krisna Setya Wiratama (Indonesian)
- The design of Indonesian flag is combined to “6”, and the design of Japanese flag is combined to “0”.
- Cherry blossom and Wayan (a puppet used in Indonesian traditional shadow play) are pictured as icons of both countries.
