State Minister for Foreign Affairs KUNIMITSU's Attendance at the “Malaysia National Day Reception”

On September 14, Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, attended the “Malaysia National Day Reception” hosted by H.E. Dato’ Ahmad Rozian, Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan.
- At the outset, State Minister KUNIMITSU delivered her remarks following the remarks by Ambassador Rozian.
- In her remarks, State Minister KUNIMITSU expressed her congratulations on the occasion of the National Day Reception of Malaysia and stated that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Malaysia in 1957, which coincides with Malaysia’s independence, our two nations have nurtured exceptionally good relationship and the two leaders concurred on further strengthening bilateral relations under the “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership” at Japan-Malaysia summit meeting held in June.
- State Minister KUNIMITSU expressed her hope that various events held in 2027 to mark the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and Malaysia will promote the people-to-people exchanges and bonding between two nations.
