Courtesy Call on State Minister for Foreign Affairs KUNIMITSU by H.E. Dato’ Ahmad Rozian, Ambassador-Designate of Malaysia to Japan

On September 2, commencing at 5:20 p.m., for approximately 20 minutes, Dr. KUNIMITSU Ayano, State Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, received a courtesy call from H.E. Dato’ Ahmad ROZIAN, Ambassador-Designate of Malaysia to Japan.
- 1. At the outset, State Minister KUNIMITSU welcomed Ambassador-Designate Rozian upon his assumption of office in Japan and stated that she would like to continue to follow-up the outcome of the summit meeting during the visit of Prime Minister Anwar in June and enhance the bilateral relations by strengthening cooperation in the fields of security, economy, people-to-people exchanges and others under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership .
- In response, Ambassador-Designate Rozian stated his intension to continue working actively to strengthen bilateral relations.
- Both sides confirmed their commitment to working together towards the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic relations between Japan and Malaysia in 2027.
