Visit to Japan of Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar

From June 8 to June 10, H.E. Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia will pay an Official Working Visit to Japan.
- During his stay in Japan, Ms. TAKAICHI Sanae, Prime Minister of Japan, will hold a meeting with Prime Minister Anwar. Prime Minister Anwar will also attend the Nikkei Forum 31st "Future of Asia."
- Japan and Malaysia are “Comprehensive Strategic Partner” that share fundamental values and principles, and it is hoped that Prime Minister Anwar’s visit to Japan will further deepen the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries.

This is Prime Minister Anwar’s third visit to Japan as a Prime Minister, since taking office in 2022, following visits in December 2023 and May 2024.
