On April 29, commencing at 7:20 a.m.(9:20 a.m. JST) for approximately 50 minutes, Mr. Ishiba Shigeru, Prime Minister of Japan and Mrs Ishiba Yoshiko, the spouse of the Prime Minister of Japan who are visiting the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, attended a breakfast meeting hosted by H.E. Mr. Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam and Madam Le Thi Bich Tran during their visit to the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam. The overview of the meeting is as follows.

  1. Prime Ministers and their spouses, in a cordial atmosphere, reflected on the visit to Viet Nam and confirmed their intention to develop bilateral relations across various fields, based on the further strengthened trust established during this visit. Following the breakfast meeting, Mr. and Mrs. Ishiba, guided by Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and Madam Le Thi Bich Tran, took a brief stroll through the Vietnam National Museum of History and appreciated the exhibits.
  2. After the event, Prime Minister Ishiba expressed his deep gratitude for the warm hospitality extended by the Viet Nam side. Prime Minister Ishiba and his spouse completed their schedule in Viet Nam, being seen off by Prime Minister Chinh and his spouse.
