Congratulatory Message from Foreign Minister MOTEGI to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Thailand Sihasak

Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Foreign Minister of Japan, sent a congratulatory letter to H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, following his reappointment as Foreign Minister and his appointment as Deputy Prime Minister on April 7, 2026.
In the letter, Foreign Minister MOTEGI conveyed the message that, under the “Comprehensive Strategic Partnership”, he would like to continue to work together to further develop bilateral relations toward the 140th anniversary of Japan-Thailand diplomatic relations in 2027 as well as to strengthen cooperation to realize a free and open Indo-Pacific.
