The 10th Japan-Thailand Political Partnership Consultations (JTPPC)

On November 28, Mr. NAMAZU Hiroyuki, Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, held the 10th Japan-Thailand Political Partnership Consultations (JTPPC) with H.E. Ms. Eksiri Pintaruchi, Permanent Secretary for Foreign Affairs of Thailand.
- During this consultation, Mr. NAMAZU and Ms. Eksiri discussed a wide range of bilateral relations, including close economic ties, political and security cooperation, people-to-people exchanges, and regional cooperation.
- In addition, they exchanged views on the situation in border areas between Thailand and Cambodia, and the regional situation, including the situations in North Korea and Myanmar. They confirmed their intention to further strengthen cooperation between Japan and Thailand.
- Senior Deputy Minister Namazu conveyed condolences regarding the flood damage currently occurring in southern Thailand and expressed Japan's readiness to provide support. In response, Permanent Secretary Eksiri expressed gratitude.
