Following the shooting incident at a shopping center in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand from February 8 to 9 (local time), Mr. MOTEGI Toshimitsu, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, sent the following message to H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand on February 10.

“I am deeply shocked and saddened that the shooting incident, which occurred at a shopping center in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand on February 8, has claimed many casualties. The Government of Japan offers its condolences to the victims and their families and pray for the speediest recovery of the injured.
Japan stands with Thailand. We express strong solidarity with the Government of Thailand and the people of Thailand.”
