Message of condolences by Foreign Minister HAYASHI following the shooting incident in Nong Bua Lam Phu, Thailand

Following the shooting incident in Nong Bua Lam Phu, Thailand on October 6 (local time), Mr. HAYASHI Yoshimasa, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, sent the following message to H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand.
“I am deeply shocked and saddened that the shooting incident, which occurred at a nursery in Nong Bua Lam Phu, Thailand on October 6, has claimed many casualties. On behalf of the Government and the people of Japan, I would like to pray for the deceased, and express my heartfelt sympathy to the injured and their families.
Japan stands with Thailand. We express strong solidarity with the Government of Thailand and the people of Thailand.”
