Dinner between State Minister for Foreign Affairs KUNIMITSU Ayano and H.E. Dr. HANG Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Kingdom of Cambodia

On July 1, State Minister for Foreign Affairs KUNIMITSU Ayano hosted a dinner with H.E. Dr. HANG Chuon Naron, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Youth and Sports of the Kingdon of Cambodia and his delegation, and exchanged their views. The summary is as follows.
- At the outset, State Minister KUNIMITSU extended a warm welcome to the delegation and stated that Japan has been supporting Cambodia's efforts to improve the quality of education, and that Japan will continue to support the development of and exchanges among the youth who will lead the next generation.
- In response, Deputy Prime Minister HANG Chuon Naron expressed his gratitude for Japan's support and stated that he would like to further promote exchanges between Japan and Cambodia in the fields of education and sports.
- Two sides concurred on strengthening various areas of cooperation including education under the Cambodia-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
