On May 21 (Japan Standard Time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe sent a message to the Honorable Barack Obama, President of the United States of America, in the wake of the tremendous damage caused by a tornado that hit the State of Oklahoma in the afternoon on May 20 (local time).
In his message, Prime Minister Abe expressed his condolences and sympathy for the victims and their families and also expressed his expectation toward President Obama’s leadership for early reconstruction.
