Visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar by Mrs. Akie Abe

From May 24 to 26, Mrs. Akie Abe visited the Republic of the Union of Myanmar accompanying Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, where she had various exchange activities.
Mrs. Abe has been supporting child education in Myanmar, making it her subject of study, and has been looking for ways to support local teachers and children based on their local perspectives by visiting to deepen exchanges with them. During her stay, Mrs. Abe visited some educational facilities in Yangon which were built with the supports of Japanese people, including the monastic school established by herself. Mrs. Abe also attended a tea party hosted by Mrs. Khin Khin Win, the spouse of H.E. Mr Thein Sein, President of the Union of Myanmar, in Naypyidaw.
