The Sixth Technical-Level Meeting
of the Four-Party Consultative Unit for the initiative
of "Corridor for Peace and Prosperity"

1. The Sixth Technical-Level Meeting of the Four-Party Consultative Unit for the initiative of "Corridor for Peace and Prosperity" was held on April 29 (Sun) in Dead Sea area in Jordan with the participation of the officials and the experts from Israeli, Japanese, Jordanian and Palestinian sides.
2. The outcomes of the meeting are as follows;
   • The four parties renewed their commitment to exert the utmost efforts on the initiative, aiming at starting the operation of JAIP in 2012.
   • The four parties agreed on "Joint Progress Report", mentioning what has been achieved for JAIP in last two years, actions to be taken in 2012, proposed actions to be taken in 2013 and beyond, and the other important ideas to materialize this initiative in the future through regional cooperation.
