The Japan-EU Conference on Tajikistan - Afghanistan Border Management and Trade Facilitation Conference

Japan and the EU hosted a conference on Tajikistan - Afghanistan Border Management and Trade Facilitation on 7-8 October 2010 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. As an outcome of the Conference, a recommendation was adopted as attached.

This conference is one of the concrete initiatives identified at the Japan-EU Summit in April 2010, where Japan and the EU taught their experiences on modern border management and trade facilitation measures to the Tajik and Afghan customs officials.
