Diplomatic Relations:
- Established on 7th September 1992.
- Embassy of the Republic of Armenia opened in Tokyo on 13 July 2010
- Embassy of Japan opened in Yerevan on 1 January 2015.

- Number of Japanese nationals residing in Armenia: 38 (Oct 2023)
Trade with Japan (2023):
- Exports from Japan: 3.25 billion yen (construction machines, motor vehicles, essential oils and perfume, electrical machinery, rubber tires and tubes, etc.)
- Imports to Japan: 4.76 billion yen (clothing, aluminum and aluminum alloys, tobacco, inorganic chemicals, etc.)
