Dispatch of Japan Disaster Relief (JDR) Expert Teams in response to the Flood Disaster in the Kingdom of Thailand
1. On Tuesday, October 25, the Government of Japan decided to dispatch two Japan Disaster Relief (JDR) Expert Teams to the Kingdom of Thailand, in response to the flood disaster in the country. Each team consists of two experts and they will give advice on how to effectively safeguard the operation and maintenance of Bangkok’s subway networks and waterworks facilities from the flood, respectively. Both teams arrived in Bangkok on October 26.
2. On Wednesday, October 26, the Government of Japan decided to dispatch another JDR Expert Team to the Kingdom of Thailand. This team (two experts) will give advice on how to effectively safeguard the operation and maintenance of Bangkok’s airport facilities from the flood. The team arrived in Bangkok on October 27.
